Adu May Indeed Swap One United for Another

Will United send this Airbus A320 to pick up Adu in DC? Probably not! But however Adu makes it to Manchester - an impressive trial with United could lead to a permanent stay in the North of England.
My own take is that such a move would be very good for Adu. He has to get out of MLS to truly find out if his potential is real. And, few clubs other than United, have a history of developing young players to fulfill such potential. Best of luck to Freddy - I think he’ll need it.
