United Give Nothing Away Over Christmas

So the festivities are over for now, and it’s evident that United were not in a very giving mood. A couple of pretty comfortable wins - and a nice four point lead (or is that five?) at the top — ahead of the New Year’s weekend matches.
About the only hint of Scrooge over Chritmas, were the concerns over Michael Carrick. Other than that - a very merry time indeed, with a lovely (and truly bizarre) little gift from Ashley Cole and Michael Essien! It’s so much better to receive, that to give (in this instance).
All this means that United will top the table at the turn of the year - though it’s still much too early to take total comfort from this. Then again - it’s nice our position is a slap in the face for Mourinho’s ego.
