By: Nick | May 13th, 2008

This is a rumour that I like. Check out his impressive goal scoring ability below.

I hope this doesn’t happen, unless Man United is willing to put him far higher than 4th. Fabiano deserves to be the first-choice striker on a top-tier team, not lost in a crowd of Rooney, Tevez, etc. When is United going to drop Louis “dead weight” Saha?

I think because of his nature of play being different from Tevez and Rooney (who as much as we say otherwise are similar to each other) Fabiano will mostly be the second striker rather than fourth…that is if he can prove his worth to Ferguson! …Saha is as good as gone

We most certainly need one more goal-scorer before next season — if two of Tevez, Rooney and Ronaldo had been lost for a while this season, we’d have been in a spot of bother.

I’ll be curious to see who Fergie goes with.

Saha’s a gonner. But if Fabiano comes in, he shouldn’t expect to be an instant number one choice… Rooney and Tevez have both proved they could do the job, and even though they were always played together, they had some good games together. Ronaldo’s striking ability means he is often used as a striker, with Rooney/Tevez dropping to cover the wing. Also, Manucho and Wellbeck are coming back, and if either of them is what they’re said to be, Luis Fabiano might be under unexpected competition…
