That Was the Week that Was

By: Nick | July 27th, 2007

Well my fellow United enthusiasts, we’re another week closer to the start of the new season and the title defense. So what are some of the things we learned this week?

*Whilst Chinese opposition may be no match for United — the people certainly were.

*Gabriel Heinze’s United career appears over — but will Fergie relent?

*Alan Smith is still a United player — but for how long?

*The Carlos Tevez affair lingers on — but is a solution in sight?

*Whilst we all focused on football matters — some United player focused elswhere.

All in all a pretty interesting week, judging from the above.

We also saw Nani’s first goal, and possibly last back-flip at the same time.

Alas, we didn’t see Owen Hargreaves.

Cheers!
