Terry Red Card Rescinded
By: Simon James | September 16th, 2008
Chelsea’s loveable thug and England’s Brave John Terry has been let off his Red Card received against Manchester City on Saturday. He is now free to face Manchester United on Sunday.
This is probably fair enough to be honest, although it was a cynical professional foul there was plenty of cover from the outstanding Carvalho and Boswinga as the foul was made. Therefore JT was not impeding a clear goal scoring opportunity. As much as I’d rather he didn’t play, justice has been done. Let’s hope this level of justice is consistent with those teams outside the big four, Manchester United included.
Also, this gives me a chance to show this ridiculous picture of him looking like he hadn’t quite got the point when deciding on a uniform for his career as an anonymous superhero.
Update - Wednesday Morning AM (BST): Unsurprisingly, Fergie is said to be furious that Terry has been let off and insists that United would receive such quarter if, or should I say when, a United player should come in front of the FA.
Continuing his fury driven rant he also expressed outrage at the continued Chinese occupation of Tibet, the mismanagement and greed leading to the fall of Lehman Brothers bank and could hardly hide his cynicism over the Zimbabwe power sharing agreement. Probably.

I agree, Rooney IS our loveable thug! A superbly skilful and England’s most talented loveable thug.
Terry is Chelsea’s and England’s brave loveable thug.

Oh Dave, you silly boy!
Terry is playing against United on Sunday so the news is both relevant AND timely. Also, I’m agreeing with the decison to let him off so settle down there pardner. And remember, you don’t get to be European And English Champions with just one man!

Simon you naive boy!….You would not be english and european champions without him…so in effect you are a one man team…and obviously by your comments Fergie is worried you’ll be another 3 points away by Sunday…what happened to the day’s when you wanted to pit yourself against the best, not hope that the opposition is weakened so you have a chance…He’s a worried man.

Obviously, we were a one man team in the Champions League final… which is why, as we all know, Ronaldo made all 6 of our penalties in the shootout…
