Spy Plane Bewilders United (Was it Arsene Gold-Wenger Perhaps?)
By: Nick | January 25th, 2007
No, that’s not the actual aircraft used (but wouldn’t it be so much cooler if it was) - but as covered by Bob on the mother ship, United remain perplexed as to the motives behind the mysterious spy plane seen hovering over their Carrington training complex.
Let’s face it, there can’t be a long line of suspects. My money’s on Champions League opponents Lille (simply because they’re French) - but I wouldn’t put it past Jose and his Russian oligarch. The Soviets knew a thing or two about the spy game after all.
