I had the same reaction to Adebayor’s tackle as well… It was relatively the same situation/tackle, but does the fact that Adebayor only got a yellow justify Rooney not getting a red? Also, Rooney’s prominence > Adebayor’s prominence. For me, both deserved reds.

I agree. Both red card offences.
But these things happen. Refs are inconsistent.
