Royal Visit Becomes a Royal Pain in the Arse

By: Nick | August 13th, 2007

wazza.jpgWell, wasn’t that simply not much fun. For not only did we fail to win a match we might later come to regret, in doing so, Rooney fractures a bone in his foot (again!). I blame those new ballet shoes boots.

It was a massively frustrating game to watch — thanks in part to Reading’s extremely negative approach. Albeit a successful one.

Even a final twenty minutes against ten men couldn’t see the players find that elusive back of the net. Not for the first time, an opposing keeper was man of the match at Old Trafford. It won’t be the last.
