Poor Wayne Rooney - his private life always seems to make as many headlines as his performances on the pitch. I just think he has a big target on his back.

I’m not sure I agree with you, mate. There are plenty of other big name stars who aren’t repeatedly making news for getting into scraps in clubs. Rooney is young and he has a temper, but one of these days his transgressions will come back to bite him in the arse. I hope I’m wrong, but his track record ain’t great.

Fair point Bob - I just feel that he lives so much under a cloud of people wanting him to fall… his temper is a concern though.
