Rooney Inspires Big Win

Few would have predicted United putting four goals past Bolton’s defence yesterday - myself included. I was honestly a little nervous going into this one - local rivalry and physical opponents with a history of good results at home. Yet United put any fears I had to rest early as Rooney scored his first of a significant treble. From then on the result was hardly in doubt.
Recent criticism of Wayne Rooney has been a bit laughable really. Let’s not forget that he just turned 21 last week! How many of us were doing anything quite so brilliant at his age? The fact that he won’t reach his physial and mental peak for a few more years is astounding really. Like him or loathe him - you can’t deny his talent.
