Red Devils Set to Put all of their Eggs in One Basket

By eggs, I mean Wayne Rooney. He of the only healthy natural striker variety. We should all heed the tagline from ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ — “Don’t Panic!”. For this is exactly what we’ll all be doing if Bolton take the lead at Old Trafford tomorrow.
To be honest, Sir Alex doesn’t really have too much of a choice when it comes to his reliance on Rooney . Perhaps this less than ideal scenario will allow Rooney to step out of Ronaldo’s pretty shadow for the remainder of the season. For all of the hype that Rooney generates - there comes a time when you have to move beyond that and deliver when it counts. And it certainly might never count to this degree again. If he succeeds, we’ll all be quite egg-static (sorry).
