Progress on the Tevez Front?

After earlier today describing the Carlos Tevez chase as being “snail’s paced”, it now seems that if it were indeed a snail, it has managed to acquire a rocket fueled jet pack, for news has just broken that Sheffield United’s public enemy #1 will undergo a medical on Tuesday — with a move clearly a lot closer than expected.
Thank goodness for small mercies.
[Update] United are currently denying the news that Tevez will undergo a medical next week.
More twists and turns to come no doubt.
