Nemanja Vidic - Hard as Nails

When Vidic arrived at Old Trafford in January 2006 most United fans probably said “who?”. But one year later we all most certainly know who he is - thanks to his rock solid presence at the heart of the defense (and some blistering headed goals to boot).
When he first arrived in Manchester, he proclaimed he’d have walked from his club in Moscow to join us. That’s an attitude seldom seen in the game these days - I doubt his main concern was the “financial package” offered. I’d like him on my side in a bar fight for sure.
