Manchester United v. QPR – Late Video Link
By: Taylor Rockwell | November 11th, 2008I know it’s late, but this just became available online: ENJOY!
http://www.justin.tv/area77/popout
- Halftime: United 0 – QPR 0. Apparently, no one on earth is showing this game/streaming this online. What the hell use is MUTV if they can’t even broadcast United’s games? Seriously!
- I think I’m going to abandon this endeavor until I can find a video link. Listen to the audio if you need live updates… hopefully, I’ll find a link soon!
- Great fight from Anderson leads to a throw…. and now a corner..
- Buzsaky for QPR is down on the touchline and looks like a sub is coming
- Tevez with a great run but the ball in gets deflected into the arms of Cerny
- Not sure if those of you out there know this, but Gary Neville is old. Gives away a ball, but nothing comes of it… it’s tough for QPR to get anything going when all their players are hiding inside the 6 yard box.
- Rafael has a crack that goes well over. He’s playing with a lot of confidence lately.
- Decent strike from Anderson leaves a rebound that Park can’t get to. Unlucky, but a good take from the Brazilian.
- Tevez looks, apparently, like a man possessed. At least, a man possessed who still hasn’t scored.
- If you want the audio rather than semi-updates, here’s the best I can do:
- 18 minutes gone and still no scoring. No videos online either. I hate life.
- Dexter Blackstock of QPR is down with injury (QPR need him healthy)
- No goals in any of the games thus far
- United having the majority of the run of play. They’re playing like a team that wants to score early and often.
- Stream died again and now I’m doing this by audio… will post a video link as soon as one comes up
- Rafael looking very dangerous on the flank… Park not as much…
7′ – Second corner for United; cleared away
- Corner United: great work from Nani and Rafael. United look energetic five minutes in.
- Stream lost again… have a new one for now… kickoff already gone…
- Lost the stream for a minute… hopefully that won’t be a recurring theme…
- QPR Starting Lineup: Radek Cerny, Fitz Hall, Damion Stewart, Peter Ramage, Matthew Connolly, Lee Cook, Martin Rowlands, Gavin Mahon, Akos Buzsaky, Daniel Parejo, Dexter Blackstock
- I’m streaming the match on MUTV. Starting lineup just announced: Kuszczak, Rafael, Evans, Neville, O’Shea, Possebon, Gibson, Anderson, Park, Tevez, and Nani. Commentators seem pretty excited about Gibson and Possebon in the same midfield. I’m more excited about what an angry Tevez will do to this QPR squad.
- In a pregame interview, Fergie noted that Welbeck and Manucho will probably figure in the second half. In an unrelated note, MUTV has had the brilliant idea of asking fans at Old Trafford “how they feel about Hargreave’s injury” Not surprisingly, they don’t feel particularly great about it.
- Subs for United: Foster, Vidic, Carrick, Welbeck, Manucho, Cleverly, Gray
- Commentators apparently wanted more youth in the lineup. Apparently, they’re getting impatient waiting for nine-year-olds to figure in the starting eleven.
I realized that I’m clearly not going to get any more work done, and it’s pretty pointless to just keep commenting on earlier posts, so I’m going to make my first attempt to a live blog. Hopefully, it will go better than Hargreaves 08/09 campaign.
