Larsson Remains Calm
By: Nick | January 9th, 2007
I think we all expected the questions about Henrik Larsson’s length of stay at United to be asked at some point - but perhaps not as soon as after the first game.
Probably the calmest judge on the matter is Larsson himself, who seems to be trying to keep things somewhat in perspective. And it certainly looks as if the final decision will be his own.
But, if things continue in the same vein as his great debut - the voices calling for him to stay until season’s end - will become even louder.
Not only that - but it seems the minds within Swedish football - are now asking him for a return to international football! All hail Henrik it seems.

King of Hearts, I called Larsson, when he was leaving Barca. Seems like the fans of every team he plays for falls in love, but he never stays around long enough for them to feel like they’ve seen enough of him. If he wants to leave, nothing seems to change his mind. But it is Manchester United, and he is 35. That has to be tempting.
