It’ll Always be Great to Relive That Final in ‘99

By: Nick | May 21st, 2007

As we grit our teeth and wait for Liverpool’s fate on Wednesday, there’s no better time to reminisce with a video of the highest quality. Regardless of our failings since, this will forever be a special memory of the “where were you when” variety. I was in an Irish pub in Portland, Oregon — dancing like a fool.

That clip sums up how every Manchester United fan should feel about the final minutes of that game. What a comeback! In that small clip, we had 6 or 7 chances. Imagine if we weren’t crap for the rest of the game…

Ole is a legend and always will be to me!

Nick, I remember watching that game together as well, and I remember you spilling half your beer on me when that second goal went in. Good times!
