I Flew in to Manchester Airport, While United Flew Out…

I’d like to admit that I felt the presence of greatness as my disheveled self arrived in Manchester, bleary eyed after the twenty hour trip to the UK — but sadly the only presence I felt was exhaustion.
It wasn’t until after my Father, Brother-in-law and I turned on Sky Sports that we saw that the United team had also been at the airport, presumably right around the same time, on their way to Milan for tomorrow’s match.
So we missed our groupie moment it turns out, which is probably for the best as we might have made fools out of ourselves. It’s nice to dream that we’d have acted with reason however.
If we had seen the team leave — we’d have been ecstatic to have seen Ferdinand and Vidic in the squad. Both could prove crucial to stop Milan.
