It’s not been ideal waiting for this match — but if we do the business as expected, and Rooney returns to the starting eleven, it’ll have been worth the wait. Especially due to the fact I think we’ve looked fairly ordinary without him up front with Carlos Tevez.
With Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool earning maximum points this weekend, it’s imperative that we don’t screw up this match. If so, the urge to panic will be difficult to suppress.
Perhaps we’ll see a disappointed Ronaldo take it out on the Fulham defenders?
