Fergie Insists Ronaldo is Happy

It’s unusual for a manager to respond to pure rumour - so there’s obviously something tangible to all of the gossip swirling around Ronaldo.
Fergie doesn’t really have to say anything - yet he felt compelled to laud the virtues of Old Trafford and assure fans that the player is happy at United.
It’s a response that clearly comes from slight worry that this whole situation is quickly spinning out of his control. Fergie must put out the fire now - before all of this speculation does harm to the season.
