Carlos Tevez Not Bothered By The Challenge; Eyes Long United Stay
By: Nick | August 14th, 2007
Thank goodness for Carlos Tevez. The loss of Rooney has been difficult enough to absorb, but imagine how worse it would be if there wasn’t a World class player available and ready to attempt to take his place.
Of course, it’ll be no easy task, yet one that Tevez doesn’t shy away from:
“I have never felt pressure when I play football… It is a big blow to lose Wayne — he is a great player and he will be very difficult to replace… I will do everything I can to help Manchester United be successful”.
Meanwhile, despite the sometimes baffling nature of his complicated move from West Ham, Tevez seems to seek some stability:
“If he (David Gill) offers a contract for five years, I will take it.”
Time will tell exactly what type of impact Tevez will have, yet thanks to a foot fracture, I’m grateful (and hopeful) Tevez is worth the hassle.
