With much more important matches against Liverpool and Lille next, I suppose United could have done without a second trip to the Madejski Stadium - but that’s what failure to kill a team off will earn you.
Unsurprisingly the old timers Giggs and Scholes look to be getting another breather - with both teams again likely to carry changes from their Premiership ideal elevens. There might even be an Alan Smith sighting as well.
This is a strange one - I’m not truly bothered if we lose. It’s the League or bust for us - although I reckon a trip to the swank new Wembley would be nice.
