6 Minutes.. 6 Minutes.. Doug E. Fresh You’re On Reading Were Done
By: Nick | February 27th, 2007
Great contest. Simply stunning start for United - three goals in six minutes should have crushed Reading’s spirit - but all due respect to the Royals for not wilting. Incredibly, they were an added time cross bar/ball meeting from somehow forcing extra time (huge sigh…)
United survived the collective appearance of O’Shea, Fletcher, Brown, Silvestre and Richardson in the unfamiliar starting eleven. Interestingly, Gary Neville seems to still be in Fergie’s doghouse after their ‘words’ in Lens. Not even a bench place for the captain - despite a pre-game warm up.
I’d imagine Reading are becoming many fans’ second team this season - they are very likable indeed.

Good point about Reading. Over the past two years they have played some of the more exciting football in the Premiership.
