Grand Larsson-y
By: Nick | January 8th, 2007
Well, it was bound to happen, wasn’t it? Henrik Larsson made his United debut - and put away a chance that Louis Saha might have missed. Then, after the rarity of a Milan Baros goal - Solskjaer stole it at the death.
The winning goal was helped in no small part, by Villa’s on loan keeper, Gabor Kiraly - and his amazingly grey sweat pants. Judging by the way he failed to fully get down for the ball - you might wonder if he was slighly worried about getting the grass stains out of the fabric after the match. It’s unlikely he has a brand new pair for every game after all.
Regardless, it’s on to the fourth round of the Cup - and a less than thrilling home encounter with Portsmouth. To be honest, I think it’s a really drab draw on the whole.

Didn’t Larsson play for that team with the guy at the place? You know what I’m talking about.
