United Bring Back the Big Boys for Birmingham City
By: Nick | September 28th, 2007
After the less than impressive *cough cough* performance by the “reserves” against Coventry City in the Carling Cup — it’s back to the meat and potatoes of the Premier League.
St Andrews is the venue as United face old boy Steve Bruce’s Birmingham City.
The Blues have had a decent start to the season and remarkably they’ve managed to score one more goal than we have so far. Speaking of goals, the record chasing Giggs has spoken out regarding his contract situation.
One player we won’t see tomorrow (or perhaps for quite some time) is Anderson, who one prays doesn’t suffer the same fate (ie he’s completely shit) as Kleberson, the club’s previous Brazilian recruit.
The BBC’s Mark Lawrenson (and former Liverpool player and cheerleader) reckons we’ll scrape it 1-2.
I’m inclined to agree with him for a change.
