As the Saying Goes — It Really is a Funny Old Game Occasionally…
By: Nick | March 9th, 2008How the f*ck we didn’t score I’ll never know. Maybe somebody put some cling film over the goal. Either that or some type of force field.
Naturally Fergie’s blown his top and blamed the referee — though he does have a point. Why is it that skilled players in the Premier League are allowed to be mauled for 90 minutes?
Matter not though — the Chelsea result was a cracker and Arsenal’s dropped points were welcome too.

I don’t think blaming the ref is the solution.
The worst challenge of the game was by Rooney when he jumped 2ft in the air with studs showing.
If he’d caught Niko then that would have been an Eduardo style leg break for sure.
If that didn’t warrant a red card then I don’t know what would.
But I do concede that Ronaldo was fouled by Distin, it should have been a Pen.
But hey, wish us luck…!!!!!

Clear penalty, no question. But you know what, so what. Man U just had to score.
I never attribute a loss to a referee, the players should vent out their anger by scoring goals and get their revenge.
