Are West Ham Ready to Let Tevez Go? (Sort Of)

By: Nick | July 30th, 2007

wh1.jpgThe past couple of days have been rife with stories of an apparent thaw in the bitter Carlos Tevez situation. Good. Whether or not anything will come of this, I’ll admit I’m yet to be fully convinced.

Surely this circus benefits nobody at the end of the day — least of all Tevez.

Shockingly it looks to be all down to money, with West Ham pushing for a lower fee, whilst the infamous third party ‘owners’ of Tevez are probably confident of more. To be received by offshore companies — two words that hardly lend this story anything you might consider dignity. Let’s hope he’s worth the enormous hassle.
